Imaginarius OFF is a section of Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival that gives room to street artists interested in divulging their work in a festival environment, outside the official programming. The Imaginarius management will define a limited number of presentation locations for street artists who are autonomous regarding their technical and logistic needs. The management will only provide each with an electric point, in selected areas of the festival’s venue.
Each of these locations will have a chronogram of use possibilities, in 60 minutes intervals [including assembly and disassembly times]. The interested artists will be able to book up to 2 presentations per day, by email. In case there is a location available, they will be able to book more presentations on the same day.

Regulation for the Participation in the Imaginarius OFF Section
Imaginarius OFF is a section of Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival that gives way to street artists who are interested in divulging their work in a festival atmosphere, without being part of the official programming.
Imaginarius' management will define a limited number of performance locations for independent artists regarding technical and logistic needs.
The Imaginarius OFF areas will function during the Imaginarius festival (26 and 27 May 2017) between 3pm and midnight, according to the specific schedule of each available presentation area.
ii) management responsibilities
Imaginarius' management will only provide participants with:
- A location within the venue of festival to present their work;
- An electric point, in limited areas of the venue;
- The possibility of “passing the hat around” for audience donations.
There will not be any operational or logistic support for setting up the performances, which must be totally autonomous.
iii) artist responsibilities
The artist will be the sole responsible for the performance, as well as for all technical and logistic requirements for its assembly, presentation and disassembly.
The artist must respect the schedules attributed to each location, in a process to be mediated through the management representative assigned for that purpose.
The artist will be responsible for the content of the presentation, which must be suitable for a family audience, which constitutes the festival's target public. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to exclusion from the section and cancellation of any scheduled performances.
iv) presentation schedules
The festival's management will set a timetable defining the possibilities of using each of the OFF locations spread around the venue. These locations can be used during 60 minutes intervals [including assembly and disassembly times].
The artist will be able to book up to 2 performance slots in each day of the festival, through firstname.lastname@example.org, or register directly at the festival's Meeting Point during the day of the event, subject to location availability.
In case the location is available on the day of the event and 30 minutes before the scheduled time, the artist will be able to book additional presentations in excess of the other 2.
Any matter not provided for in the present regulation will be decided by the festival's management, which will be able to designate a representative for that purpose.
