Imaginarius has opened its doors to the international festival and artistic creation networks. As from July 2014, the festival is the first and unique Portuguese member of the Circostrada Network, Europe’s largest network for the promotion of street arts and new circus, based in Hors Les Murs, Paris. Within this context, Imaginarius collaborates in defining a set of guidelines, and is also represented at work groups CS Hubble (an observatory for street arts in Europe) and coordinates the FreshStreet workgroup (which aims to organize, every 2 years, a conference on good practices in Street Arts). The next edition of Fresh Street will take place in Santa Maria da Feira, in 2017.
Imaginarius was awarded in 2015 with the label EFFE – Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe – promoted by EFA – European Festivals Association, that highlight the European artistic festivals that check a list of requirements in terms of programming, support to creation, link to community and international impact.
Giving answer to the strategy of Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira for the international promotion of their artists, Imaginarius develop a broad set of international partnerships with other festivals and promotion agents looking to the international diffusion for the artistic creations supported by the festival.
In 2016 Imaginarius starts a new collaboration with EFA for the education and training, being one of the 20 festivals that host a trainer from the international Festival Production Management Training.
